Sipiso-piso Waterfall, Jewel in Tanah Karo

Sipiso-piso is located in the north of Lake Toba, about 24 kilometers from Kabanjahe. This waterfall is the highest in Indonesia with a height of 120 meters. Sipiso-piso waterfall made from an underground river in the Karo plateau that runs through a cave on the side of the crater of Lake Toba.

Waterfall scenery was incredible. A small waterfall, but a high fall in between the cliffs greenish. From the viewing post built by the government in this Brand visitors not only enjoy the scenic waterfall, but also of Lake Toba.

Sipiso-piso waterfall is about 800 meters above sea level. Waterfall flowing down the cutting of green hills covered with pine trees. Sipiso-piso itself literally means "blade".

Not only can you see the waterfall from a distance, but fell for him. The stairs are steep and far enough away so make sure you have strong stamina and bring drinking water supplies. The drop may not be a problem, but hundreds of stairs to climb back after playing under the water of course is quite tiring.

Viewing post itself is quite broad, and when it is much visited by local tourists. Unfortunately substation infrastructure in this view is inadequate. There are only basic facilities such as toilets and food stalls, which I think the number and inadequate hygiene. Visitors who want to explore this area further should stay in a nearby village, which is Tongging.

Tongging

Tongging located on the shores of Lake Toba, in the north. In Tongging you can perform various activities, such as swimming in the lake, do trekking in the jungle, or visit a small waterfall called Sidompak. You can go up to Mount Sipiso-piso, and did paragliding from the top.

Besides swimming, you can also ride a boat hired from local fishermen to get around the lake. Cycling from one village to another is also a fun activity to look at everyday life Karo residents. For you fans of ethnic fabrics, you can go to the Village Silalahi in cockfighting, Dairi. The village is located about 11 km from Tongging.

Tongging Villagers are mostly fishermen and farmers. They farmed rice and onions as well as fishing in the lake Toba. Arsik carp and the red fish is a common species of fish reared in Lake Toba. You should try the traditional dish of fish with seasoning.

Some options include accommodation in Tongging Sibayak Pensions, Pensions parultop, and Roman Sinasi Bungalows, all of which exist in the Road Silalahi, Tongging. Travelling here is perfect for the backpacker on a budget because it was cheap accommodation.

For those of you who use a personal vehicle, a trip to Sipiso-piso easier. From Berastagi, you will only take about 2 hours. Landscapes and countryside in Tanah Karo is very interesting, unfortunately the road is not good. So, be careful.

Siung Beach Yogyakarta

Siung beach is one beach in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Although including the most recent known, this beach has become a mainstay of the region. Not long ago, I visited the beach and realize its tourism potential.

Located in District Tepus cloves, about 70 km from Yogyakarta. Unlike the beaches who had already been known as Parangtritis, Siung including short. This beach is located in the basin length is only about 300-400 m. But herein lies precisely in its privileges.

This short beach is surrounded by large rocks colored black, which are mostly overgrown with vegetation and moss green. Alloy crystal clear blue sea and greenery add to the beauty of coral panorama of this place.

Siung is not the most ideal beach for swimming because of facing directly into the Indian Ocean. Topography is craggy and rocky beaches and big waves too difficult for you to swim. No wonder the local government put up the sign ban swimming. But, of course you can still play around the water on the beach.

Another specialty of this beach is still the number of trees on the beach. You can just rent a mat from a population of around and take shelter under the trees.

Besides suitable as a place to escape from the bustle of everyday life, Siung very suitable for those who have a hobby of photography. The beach is a short and limited coral reef is actually a very interesting object image.

If you do not mind sweat, you can follow the path on the left side of the beach to reach the top of the cliff. About 10-15 minutes it takes to get to the top. From there, you will see the whole beach and large rocks on the left and right. The beach also looks Wediombo who is on the east Siung.

Besides being a tourist attraction and an interesting photo, the area around Siung also often used as a rock climbing gym. Students in Yogya nature lovers - and even outside the city - often train here, take advantage of the cliffs with the size of the varied and diverse paths. Because the new known in recent years, Siung not much visited by tourists. Seawater is crystal clear, coral-reefs were still free from the hands of ignorant people.

Local residents have built stalls, toilets and mosque at this beach. In contrast to most tourist attractions, the prices on the coast is still quite normal so this beach can be a cheaper option streets for you.
When the stomach starts twisting, you can visit one of the stalls that lined the beach. Usually they provide instant noodles, rice and side dishes, and coconut ice. You also can ask the shop keeper to cook freshly caught fish fishermen.

Unfortunately, in this area many fishermen catch baby sharks when the animal is one of the protected species.

Surfing At Batu Karas Beach

Surfing sports fans probably already know about the beach which is located quite remote. But yet, you can try to go to Batu Karas beach. This beach is located in the Village Cijulang, Bandung, West Java.

From Jakarta can be completed in about 5 to 7 hours. The beach is only 10 minutes from other tourist sites are also very attractive for tourists namely Green Canyon.

Batu Karas beach is not too large. The beach is a basin of the corners a bit rocky. If by chance the skies are friendly, you'll be lucky to get the object image is incredibly beautiful. It would be better if you are a special visit to enjoy the sunset. Rocky contours on the right and the left coast would spoil the photography enthusiasts because it provides an attractive landscape.

Some reviews I have read says that Batu Karas Beach is one of the best point for surfing in Indonesia. However, keika I visited there some time ago, the waves are not too large so it may be less attractive for those who are good at working out as smoothly. But that does not reduce the value of this beach, because just when the waves are not too large is perfect for beginner surfers who may number in this country more than they are already experts.

For those who do not want to learn to surf, you can use the time with a variety of water sports available here, including banana boat. Operators of water sports, as well as the snorkeling equipment rentals and the like are widely available on the beach. For those of you who have a hobby of photography, you can climb the hill on the right side of the beach, through the existing cement stairs. Just make sure you be careful because the condition of the stairs in my opinion has to be repaired. From the top of the hill you can enjoy a broader landscape.

Batu Karas beach, maybe not as famous as other beaches in the area, but its popularity soared further. At the holidays or during school holidays the beach is very crowded. When last visited there, there is a middle school camp held at the location of this tour. So, if you want more out of the atmosphere, select a day which is not a holiday. In addition to a more tranquil atmosphere, the beach becomes more clear.

Evidence of the rising popularity of this beach is the emergence of new accommodations around the coast. Initially it may only JavaCove Beach Hotel and Bonsai existing bungalow, now some other accommodation that seems pretty classy start operating.

If you want a slightly different atmosphere, you can choose to stay at Panimeran Riverside, about 1 km from the coast. This cottage-style inn provides a natural on the riverbank, although they also just build a more economical type of accommodation. So do not worry if you want to stay, now have many choices!
Eating problems also do not need to worry about. Lined beachfront stalls that provide seafood. I think the normal price with a flavor that can be thumbs up.

Batu Karas beach located about 32 km from the beach Pangandaran. The road from Pangandaran to the beach is less smooth so allot more time. If you are going to use public transportation, from Tasikmalaya Pangandaran or you can choose to major transport Cijulang. Arriving at Terminal Cijulang, you can proceed with the motorcycle.

If you have the opportunity to visit to Batu Karas, a time to also visit the Green Canyon. So, you can visit two interesting tourist sites at once. I am sure you will not regret it!
